Definition of no problem
no problem
interjection
- "you're welcome."
Person A: Thanks for sending me that recipe.
Person B: No problem.Last edited on Jul 19 2011. Submitted by J. M. on Aug 29 2007.
notes
- This phrase literally means "It was not a problem." In other words: what was done was performed easily or was performed willingly. (Of course, that's the theory. As with "You are welcome," the task may have been difficult or performed begrudgingly.)
